Terms of Service

What you can expect from Shortcutly and what we expect from you when you use the service.

The Service

Shortcutly is a community catalog of Apple Shortcuts. Creators publish listings: a name, description, icon, version history, and an iCloud link. The shortcut itself is hosted by Apple on iCloud, not on our servers.

By accessing or using Shortcutly you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the service at our discretion.

Accounts

You need an account to submit shortcuts, comment, like, favorite, or follow creators. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately at julien@supacat.io so we can help secure it.

Your Content

You retain ownership of everything you post: shortcut listings, release notes, comments, and profile content. Only submit content you have the right to share; if a shortcut adapts someone else's work, credit it using the adapted-from field.

By posting, you grant Shortcutly a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the service, for example showing your shortcut in browse pages, search results, feeds, and previews.

Acceptable Use

  • No malicious shortcuts: nothing designed to harm devices, steal data, or deceive the people who run it.
  • No spam, misleading listings, or artificial inflation of downloads or likes.
  • No unlawful, infringing, or harmful content in shortcuts, comments, or profiles.
  • No scraping, crawling abuse, or attempts to bypass security or moderation controls.

Shortcuts are reviewed before they appear publicly, but review is not a guarantee. You install and run shortcuts at your own risk. Always inspect a shortcut's actions in the Shortcuts app before running it.

Moderation

We may review, approve, reject, edit, or remove any content, and suspend or terminate accounts, at our discretion. That includes content that violates these terms, harms users, or degrades the service. Reported comments and submitted versions go through this review process.

Copyright and Takedowns

If you believe content on Shortcutly infringes your copyright or other rights, email julien@supacat.io with a link to the content, a description of the work infringed, and your contact details. We will review takedown requests promptly and remove infringing content where appropriate.

No Warranty

Shortcutly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that any shortcut is safe, functional, or fit for a particular purpose, nor that the service will be complete, accurate, or uninterrupted.

Shortcuts link to third-party iCloud content we do not control. Availability of a shortcut is up to its creator and Apple's iCloud service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shortcutly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from any shortcut you install through it.

The service is free to use; our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Apple

Shortcutly is an independent community project, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, iCloud, and Shortcuts are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Changes and Contact

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements evolve. The "Last updated" date shows when revisions were made. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the revised terms.
